Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve

On tour to Murchison Falls National Park, you will get a chance that many visitors to western Uganda don’t understand: visiting the unexplored Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve along with Lake Albert in western Uganda.

Nestled in the valleys of western rift valley around Lake Albert, Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve was established in 2002 by Uganda Wildlife Authority as a sanctuary for different wildlife species in the western rift valley. The wildlife found in the reserve includes Uganda Kob, duikers, and hartbeests. Certain species of primates such as baboons and black colobus monkeys are cited in the park.

The only accommodation available at Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve is Lake Albert Safari Lodge, which should certainly meet your lodging needs.
