Lake Bunyonyi is accessible by both road and air transport. The drive from Kampala to Lake Bunyonyi takes approximately 7hrs, whereas a drive from Kigali, Rwanda, is 4hrs. There are plenty of public buses traveling between Kampala and Kabale town daily. 
There are taxis from Kabale town to the shore of Lake Bunyonyi, which is 5kms away. For those who prefer flying, AeroLink Uganda offers daily flights from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airport. Kisoro town is about 40kms from Lake Bunyonyi.
