Uganda Equator Crossing is a historical landmark located at Kayabwe, the road towards Masaka city and Kampala. The Equator line (zero degrees latitude) divides the northern and southern hemispheres. The Equator landmark at Kayabwe is a major stopover for travelers crossing from southern Uganda to the north or from the north to the south.
